Cul de sac and the Dogwood

3/26/11 Montain Park —Wisterea Hysteria
Funny name for a very placid painting. Painted at Mountain Park Lake just north of Hwy 92 last Sunday. It was very gray that day but worked well in this little gem. 12 x 16" oil. I'll try to post some more—none quite as fresh as this though. Taking a class starting this Saturday at the Cobb/Marietta Museum —hope to meet some fellow Plein-airs. Cheers—it's cocktail time.

Amaryllis Fest
9 x 12, pastel This painting was done from a beautiful plant my friend gave me in early December. It is on it's second blooming. Truly a bionic plant! I decided to have fun with color on this.
